The Rapid Air Monitor (RAM) adds to Gradko's range of cost effective air quality monitoring equipment for passive sampling with the added advantage of shorter monitoring periods.
With sampling times from as little as 1 hour, the RAM solves the requirement for fast results without the need for hiring a pump, allowing you to identify hazardous air pollutants even if you only have limited site access. Additionally the rapid sampling times are now applied to inorganic compounds, previously only suitable for long-term passive sampling. |
|
 |
The RAM is used for ambient air pollution monitoring and indoor air sampling including personal exposure monitoring
- External ambient air monitoring, for example at roadside or urban background locations.
- Indoor air monitoring in new buildings, offices and car interiors.
- Industrial monitoring for the emission of hazardous gas – boundary monitoring or stack sampling.
- Personal exposure or workplace monitoring for occupational health surveys and risk assessments.

Sampling Rates
Nitrogen dioxide:
Uptake rate = 28.6 ± 1.5 ml/min at 20°C (Temperature corrected).
VOCs:
Designed for variable and adjustable uptake rates - simultaneous monitoring of volatiles and semi-volatiles. |
