Companies providing products such as building materials, car interior materials and household goods are now very aware of the need to provide their customers with emissions information.
There is an increasing demand, backed by national directives and legislation, for organisations to reduce VOC emissions. |

We can provide a materials screening service employing Micro chamber/ GCMS techniques and methods based on the requirements of ISO16000 Parts 6 and 9-11.
The screening will identify all VOC /SVOC emitted from a wide range of materials backed up with each compounds status in relation to toxicity, mutagens and carcinogens. |
- Manufacturers
- Suppliers
- Stockists/Retailers wanting to carry out tests on the products they sell
- Importers wanting to provide their customers with emissions information
- Environmental and health professionals
- Local authorities for trading standards purposes
- Individual consumers wanting products or materials to be tested
|
Legislation is driving this increase in emissions testing in locations such as Korea, Japan, China, Germany and individual states like California. There are also Directives such as the European Construction Products Directive (CPD).
Additional pressure is coming from consumers who want to know about emissions from paints, flooring etc. and new building standards are driving the market for low emission products. |
